This billet aluminum oil cap for the Gen 1 Mazdaspeed3 and Mazdaspeed6 valve cover is threaded for a 10an ORB fitting and allows you to vent your crankcase pressure to a vented or sealed and recirculated catch can setup and comes with a baffle that is to be installed inside the valve cover under the oil cap to prevent oil from slinging out of the oil cap or out of the fill hole if the oil cap is ever left off the valve cover, similar to what the Gen 2 valve covers incorporated from the factory.

Below are links to recommended fittings that allow you to have a tight 90 off the cap to the line setup of your choosing. The first link is the fitting we have used. Its main feature is that it free spins 360 degrees so you don’t have to remove the line from the cap in order to take the cap off for oil changes. Though, any 10AN ORB fittings of your choosing will work on this cap.

Baffle Installation:

To install the baffle you will remove the valve cover and flip it over, then remove the two phillips screws closest to the oil fill hole. Place the baffle where the two holes line up with the screw holes you just removed, and then bolt it in place using the two factory screws you just removed. Re-Install the valve cover and you are set.
